I've lost 70 lbs. I did it by doing lots of cardio. Spinning is great! Do a class EVERY morning (4min-1hr) 7 days a week. If you are having a hard time, just tell yourself it's going to be hard at first, but you're going to do it. If you miss a class because you are tired, it's ok just get back into it tomorrow. You sound like you are very motivated. If you do a class in the morning, it will give you energy for the rest of the day. In addition to cardio every morning, stay active meaning, take the stairs, go for a walk (walk to the store or for an errand, give yourself a reason) The more things you do like this, the more active you will become, and the easier it will get. I used to do cardio for an hour in the morning, then I worked my way up to twice a day (5 days a week) once in the morning and once at night. But, it takes alot of energy and you can burn out after a week. Still, the week is worth it because you will see changes, and that will motivate you to keep going. As far as eating, I eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Grilled or baked chicken and fish. No sauce, butter, etc. Keep it simple. Don't eat processed foods. A typical meal for me is: oatmeal in the morning with strawberries. lunch is a mixed green salad with tomatos, broccoli, grean beans, leafy greens, balsamic vinagrette on the side, grilled chicken. Snack an apple or grapes, some kind of fresh fruit. Dinner: same thing..this works. If you need more carbs, eat a whole wheat role or piece of bread with lunch and dinner. Drink alot of water, with every meal, and if you are still hungry after a meal drink more water or eat fruit. If you want a treat, mix crystal light flavor packs (raspberry, peach, etc) in your water with lots of ice. I also like ice tea or ice coffee (sweeten with Splenda) Always make your eating space nice for yourself, take your time when eating and enjoy eating healthy food. I wish you the best :)
