  Hello there.  Been There Girl here. Ok.  You know that at your height 370 pounds is a dangerous place to be?  I tried the exercise route.  But - I still ate like I wanted to.  Hense no weight loss. My suggestion to you, is to write down ALL you eat.  Make a chart and list them.  Even the snacks.  Try and loose the pop and cut down on chocolate.  Give yourself a treat 2 or 3 times a week so you do not feel deprived.  Then the devil will entise you to binge - that sucker will try all he has to try & make you sad and upset. Are you a believer in Jesus Christ? If not, do you want to be?  I can help you there.  I have been Born Again since 1975.  I do not claim to be a miracle worker - I leave that to God!  But we can pray for each other and support each other and make it work!   I do not believe your body is fighting itself.  That is Doctor talk. We KNOW who is doing this. It is a Spiritual battle.  The sooner you know this the faster you can solve this.  WITHOUT BYPASS SURGERY!  I was told, at 328 lbs., that I would die if I had the surgery!  I like to eat. But I went to man - not to God for answers and that just did me in.  Once I realized that I needed His help, went to Him and had a heart to heart talk, I knew my days of being fat were numbered.   You are not a freak.  You are a child of God and He makes no junk so, know this - He Loves You!  And no matter what He is on your side.  You have to submit to Him.  Walk - that will help.  if you want to exercise do so.  I did not.  I have too many physical stuff wrong with me.  I did have the "Apron" that most overweight peole have.  It hung past my thighs.   It causes yeast infections & all kinds of crap.  I had to powder myself and wear cotton strips across my abdomen so that the skin would not touch the skin. Because once it does You pull it apart - it bleeds and that is not good.  I went out on a limb - I signed a form that said if I have the pannus (mini abdomiplasty) removed it would be costly.  and I would have to pay for it.  I signed it - but I knew God was behind me - I went to a plastic surgeon and he had reservations - but I had no open sores, no problems of any kind!  He was shocked! And then - the bill came?  $39,219.00!  Whoa!  Guess what? I DID NOT PAY ONE CENT!  GOD TOOK CARE OF IT ALL! You sometimes have to go out on a limb - when you do, God will meet you there and you rest in His arms.       Now, I do not know how it is for you - but if they are suggesting Gastric Bypass - I am willing to bet they would go for something else.  There are answers out there.  You just have to know how to look.  Ask God to help you.   I had my Apron removed - I lost 15 pounds!  I no longer have to powder myself and I am FREE for the 1st time in 15 yrs.  Praise the Lord!  You go to Him and let Him hear your story.  He knows it - He wants you to humble yourself before Him - then - watch Him pull it all together for you!  Trust Him. What do you have to loose?  370 pounds?  Watch the weight fall off you.  It has taken me 3 years to loose my weight.  I did it the healthy way. The God way.   Blessings to you!
