Exercise may not reduce hunger for the overweight

Conventional wisdom has stated that exercise reduces hunger, but a new study has found that idea to be only half true. In a small study, researchers found that exercise did help inhibit the hormone leptin in lean women. When leptin levels dipped, participants' hunger was reduced. But the researchers found that obese women did not experience this leptin drop, or the accompanying appetite suppression.
