Self-consciousness may prevent obese from getting fit

Self-consciousness, a fear of falling, and feeling too fat to exercise may prevent some obese women from working out, a new study has found. Researchers studied 278 women who enrolled in a physical activity encouragement study, and found that these types of mental barriers predicted how likely the women were to exercise in the upcoming year.
