Obesity surgery may cut cancer risk

Weight-loss surgery has been tied to a reduction in the risk of diabetes, and a new study suggests it may also help prevent cancer. Though researchers don't know what causes the link, the study found that the surgery may reduce the risk of some cancers by up to 80 percent.
