Weight may be about more than what you eat

A new animal study adds evidence to the idea that weight loss is about more than just burning the calories you eat. California researchers say that the neurotransmitter serotonin acts not only to control eating, but to control what your body does with fat. In the study, researchers found that serotonin activated nerve pathways that prompted the animals to either store fat when food was scarce or burn fat when it was plentiful.
