As I sit here trying to figure out what to say I am thinking back about five years ago. It all started when I had knee surgery and my orthopedist done bloodwork. He found positive ANA for lupus. He stuck to that and my regular family Dr ran the ANA test and found high titers for lupus too. He refered me to a Rheumatologist who looked at the blood test and said you don't have lupus. He had me come back and was very rude and degrading towards me. He would say What is wrong with you now or What is it today. I quit going to him and made the mistake of letting myself go for two years. I finally gave in and went to another Rheumatologist and he told me that I didn't have lupus and he got up in my face and told me he didn't want to see me anymore. So I thought I need to see a neurologist because I have neurological problems. I had a very good Dr and she left about three months after I saw her. Now I have a first year resident and I don't know if she is going to be any good or not. My orthopedist is the only one I can trust right now but I know he can't do everything that needs to be done for me. I have made up my mind to start over again and not to give up this time.
