Osteoarthritis and Lupus

Tinygirl3366 Community Member October 29, 2007
  • I wanted to know if osteoarthritis and lupus are common as two diseases together. Also I want to know if knee replacements are really worth the surgery and pain. I have to have both knees replaced and I am scared to death. Also I was wanting to know how I would bring up the subject to my orthopedist if he will refer me to a pain clinic because my Dr has quit giving me my meds now. He told me to have my specialist to write me out what I needed and he would take it from there. I showed him the new pain med and he dropped me like a hot potato. What do I do now? Please help.
