Please Help

I was wanting to know if anyone can give me advice on how to get my medicine back. This is what happened. My family Dr was writing out my blood pressure pills, my pain meds, and my nerve meds. He told me that when I saw one of my specilist which are an orthopedist, a neurologist, and an ENT , that if they changed my pain meds to let him know and he would write them out for me so they wouldn't have too. My family Dr is also a pain specilist...

Just another day

Just had to vent a little bit. My jaws and teeth and gums are killing me. I have possible TMJ and was wondering if the osteoarthritis can cause it. I have to go to my ENT Dr next week and I hope she can fix it. I also was cut off of all my meds and haven't had any in two months. My family Dr told me if my specialist changed me to a stronger pain med he would write it out for me but when my orthopedist did my family Dr dropped all of my...

Osteoarthritis and Lupus

I wanted to know if osteoarthritis and lupus are common as two diseases together. Also I want to know if knee replacements are really worth the surgery and pain. I have to have both knees replaced and I am scared to death. Also I was wanting to know how I would bring up the subject to my orthopedist if he will refer me to a pain clinic because my Dr has quit giving me my meds now. He told me to have my specialist to write me out what I needed...

Life's unexpected turns!

As I sit here trying to figure out what to say I am thinking back about five years ago. It all started when I had knee surgery and my orthopedist done bloodwork. He found positive ANA for lupus. He stuck to that and my regular family Dr ran the ANA test and found high titers for lupus too. He refered me to a Rheumatologist who looked at the blood test and said you don't have lupus. He had me come back and was very rude and degrading...
