July 2010 in Review

  • And the summer is half-way gone. How did this even happen? I feel like July went faster than any other month. Oh well. Let's dive in for the month that was, shall we?

Another productive month here at Osteoarthritis Central.  We had Christina Lasich, MD contribute an article on risk now leading to osteoarthritis later and I wrote a piece about tennis elbow.  (Seriously, watch out - it's a silent killer!)

We added quizzes on Natural Solutions to osteoarthritis and a drug quiz.

We created a downloadable guide for 9 Reasons to Join a Gym If You Have Arthritis... something you should print out and hang on your refrigerator for motivation.

On the news front, the FDA approved a new generic relafen for arthritis, scientists tested stem cell treatment for osteoarthritis, glucosamine was said to be ineffective in treating back pain and Tylenol recalled more drugs.

Did I miss anything?  What say the community?

    See you in August!
