I HAVE OSTEOARTHITIS IN MY LEFT SHOULDER I AM TAKING CELEBREX AND 50MG OF TRYMADOL AND MY PAIN IS STILL THERE ANY INFO OUT THERE OF HOW TO STOP THIS PAIN IT NEVER REALLY GOES AWAY IT STAY IN THE JOINT AND DOWN MY ARM
I also have osteoarthritis and am recovering from an Anterior Hip Replacement. I have learned that if I stay away from the night shade foods, i.e., tomatoes, eggplant, etc. and anything acidy it helps. When I get up in the morning I take wet heat and apply it to the area. I later apply ice. It gives me relief and I keep my body moving. If you can afford a dietician, I will suggest you try it. They will put you on a routine for a week and test to see what foods are aggravating your arthritis. My friend who has MS went to a dietician and she is feeling 100% better. Hope this helps.
I appreciate professionals like orthopedic surgeons in las vegas helping the general public be more aware of symptoms of conditions such as osteoarthritis. It is a great service to help us be more aware of dangers to our health and deal with them as quickly as possible before they are agravated.
Why would it be hard to lift your arm, and it seems like this cramp moves up and down your arm. When you rub your shoulder it seems like it moves.
Sorry 'Patrica' &' Mrs. Mum', I have no answers for you, OR. I'll be YOUR DR. TODAY. Well I'm a 'Vet Tech'... 'YOUR JUST GOING TO HAVE LIVE WITH IT!'
How many times have you heard, that one? Aren't I a 'smart A&*'
At one time in my life, I'd put a nickel in a big glass jar, every time I heard THAT ONE, my jar was almost full. Until my 'Druggie Son' got hold of it. Couldn't help myself, I'm very, very sorry. Please forgive me.
I know what a 'pain in the butt it is. I injured both shoulders, the 'popping', sometimes they 'Freeze', I'll drop things, on & on, having both shoulder's messed-up is more annoying then the pain, which doesn't seem to last long, maybe I'm just use to pain? Can people get use to being in pain, ALWAYS?
I've heard of people having operation's, but not many happy with the out come, they still have pain. Many people think after the operation, in a few weeks they will be back to doing what they always did, not so. Or they will better then when they first hurt themselves, some will, most will be worse, then they first hurt themselves, Dr's can only do so much. The rest is up to you.
Sorry all I have is the same stuff you've heard before, Heat, Ice, exercise, blah, blah. I know of a good 'Pain Management' Dr. around Los Angles,Ca. If that helps anyone. Good Luck to everyone, wish I could help you more. I'v gotten where, I just ingore it the best I can. Hugs,Pegi XXOO
