    The FDA allows the generic medications an error range of 80% to 120% of the active ingredient.  So a generic medication can contain 20% less, or 20% more and still be acceptable.

    Generic ibuprofen does not have a coating to protect your stomach.  I developed an ulcer from taking the generic so I highly recommend Advil instead of the generic.
