About Me

I am very athletic and love to hike in Colorado.  I have arteriovenous malformation (AVMs), rare disorder, and previous surgeries have left me with dumping syndrome. I have started battling osteoporsis over the last 2 years.  Finishing my Forteo injections in about a month or two.  My back improved, but not my hips.  I tore my meniscus and had arthroscopy on my knee to find out that both knees have a Grade 3 osteoarthritis.  I am riding my stationary recumbant bike and using the elliptical machine to get strength in my legs.  My othropedic doctor wants me to try Hyalgan injections in the knees.  I am overwhelmed by what I am facing in all areas.  The only doctor I have been referred to (in Dec.) is Dr. Aronoff in Dallas.  (Internal Medicine)
