What exactly does a rheumatologist do for persons suffering from OA? I see a Pain Management specialist who is part of an Orthopaedic group so I feel I am getting the best possible care. Just wondering....

Rheumatologists are clinicians specialized in the field of rheumatology, which requires four years of undergraduate school, four years of medical school and then postgraduate training. Rheumatologists have received additional training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles and bones.
