    Dear CGrower,

Thank you for submitting a SharePost and I'm sorry to hear about your pain and discomfort.

We have many great resources on our site about joint surgeries and medications used to ease the pain of Osteoarthritis.

Additionally, I think you may enjoy reading blogs by our expert patient Pattye Snyder. She's a real inspiration (for OA and non-OA sufferers), and speaks to some of the feelings and issues you're currently wrestling with.

Best wishes and please let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi cgrower,

I deal with the leg pain myself from compression of the lumbar.

I do walk at least 30 min every day which

some days is a real challenge.

I use tramadol which does help and is not an

opiate, the side effects are toloerable..
