I am living with this disease mostly in the right hip but recently feels more severe pain in front of the thigh. Almost as if the pain was deep in the femur. Has anyone experienced this please. Thank you.

Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 02:28 AMDolores, I see that this post was a year and a half ago, and don't know if you will get this. I just got a diagnosis of the same thing and my pain in the femur is so excruciating sometimes I want to cry. Dr's didn't give much help on any way to alleviate the pain or to make the condition better. I have been diagnosed with degenerating hip sockets since I was 27 and am now 60. Hope you are better and did you try the cortisone shot? Judy

I suffered for over a year from similiar symptons until my physio suggesteed that it might be trochamteric bursitis, which I believe is an inflammationpf the sheath covering the muscle attached to the thigh bone. A cortisone injection as completely cured this.it is very painful but worth it)
