I am living with this disease mostly in the right hip but recently feels more severe pain in front of the thigh.  Almost as if the pain was deep in the femur.  Has anyone experienced this please.  Thank you.

I suffered for  over a year from similiar symptons until my physio suggesteed that it might be trochamteric bursitis, which I believe is an inflammationpf the sheath covering the muscle attached to the thigh bone. A  cortisone injection as completely cured this.it is very painful but worth it)

    Hi,

My parents suffered from bad arthritis.  We searched for something to give them relief.  They have been drinking a juice called MonaVie for 5 months now and have had great results and relief of their pain.  I can send you some to try if you'd like.  I'm sure it would help.

    Take care,
    Matt

Hi I am 42 years old and have been diagnosed with this disease. I have been having terrible leg pain and need a hip replacement on both hips. I am really scared and have never heard of someone my age needing this surgery. iI get the pain down both of my legs and sometimes it is as if the get stuck and I can't move it mostly my right leg tilll I hear a click and feel the pain then I can move again. I would love to hear from anyone regarding this.

Dolores, I see that this post was a year and a half ago, and don't know if you will get this.  I just got a diagnosis of the same thing and my pain in the femur is so excruciating sometimes I want to cry.   Dr's didn't give much help on any way to alleviate the pain or to make the condition better.  I have been diagnosed with degenerating hip sockets since I was 27 and am now 60.  Hope you are better and did you try the cortisone shot?  Judy

The breakdown of cartilage in the knee can lead to bony protrusions called spurs and considerable joint pain.
