I am 35 and just go tdiagnosed with osteoarthritis after pain for several years. I get frustrated often because being young there is not much the docs want to do and so I am having to learn to live with the pai.
I have it in both knees and the spine. I get severe headaches from the neck problems I have and my back and knees hurt constantly. I can not afford the treatment they are wanting to do which is some kind of hyularic acid injections and physical therapy cause I am not able to work. I have three children I have to take care of that gets me through the day.
I just want to connect with people who understand casue not many people do.

So sorry to hear you have OA at such a young age. I also started having issues in my thrities. I was going to recommend the Ortho-visc shots to help your knees, but I see you do not have insurance. That is a tough one. Any way to get insurance going foward? You are going to need some help with the pain as your age. It doesn't get better, I am sorry to say. I have RA and OA, so I understand the pain and fatigue. PT also is a great help from time to time. It is important to keep your muscles strong because they stablize your joints. One of the best things you can do on your own is to exercise in a pool. The water takes the weight off of your joints and enables you to do exercises that you could or should never do on dry land. Many YMCAs have classess for people with Arthritis. Perhaps you could participate in one of those classes...???
Best wishes,
