Calf Muscle loss and Osteoarthritis

I am a 44 year white male, I have experienced muscle loss in my left calf over the pass two years. I had Perthes disease as a child with one leg shorter than the other. Concern over Pain

It Keeps Getting Worse

constant pain

Why would an X-ray show osteophytes on the anterior part of my spine L-2 thru L-5, but an MRI from another place states there is nothing wrong?  I am in constant pain, even stopping me from walking at times.
