At a Glance

Osteoarthritis, as a degenerative disease, has progressively worsening symptoms.  The condition is characterized with pain, inflammation and stiffness in the joint that gets worse with age and continued use.  Pain can come in waves, can worsen in humid weather and it can result in muscle spasms around the affected joint.
