Types of Osteoarthritis

At a Glance

As osteoarthritis is known to strike the joints, any joint is at risk.  However, there are joints that are more prone than others, often those joints that take a particular amount of abuse throughout a lifetime.  The number one source of osteoarthritis pain is in the hands, followed by the knee.  Patients can also suffer from OA in the shoulder, ankles, feet and spine, among other joints.
