Arthritis in the hands is the most common location for osteoarthritis.  Aching hands can be severely detrimental to quality of life, as some may have to give up their favorite hobbies or even a career due to the pain in the hands.  Exercising the muscles around the joint is a common way to help relieve osteoarthritis pain, but this may be difficult with the hands.  Treatment options include keeping the hands warm, anti-inflammatory medication or physical therapy.
