    Hi there, aida -

Did you ever find out what was causing this pain and burning sensation? If you did, it might be really helpful to our other community members if you came back and told us what the diagnosis and treatment for it was. Just off the cuff (as I am not a healthcare professional) it sounds like it could be nerve pain, something related to a disc, muscle issues, or the type of pain that sometimes comes with fibromyalgia. I hope your doctor was able to get to the bottom of it and get you some relief!

I also have this severe burning pain in my upper back,it feels like it radiates through to my chest,it is very very painful.Ive had it daily for almost 3 months now and have gone into hospital 15 times to have a jab of morphine for the pain.Tests for gallstones, pancreatitis etc have all come back negative, but still the pain continues.

How do you cope with it?.

Im a 40 year old woman, apart from an irregular heartrate Im in pretty good health.
