tips on relieveing pain associated with osteoarthritis in the neck?

I have just been diagnosed with this and I have terrible headaches associated with the ailment.  I have never heard of this so to know that others have it and can deal with it would definitely be re assuring.

hi

i have suffered from cervical sponylotis for 20 years now have one disc worn down to the tip in neck i find putting something warm on my neck eases the pain off and you want to get yourself a soft surgical collar does help a lot.  i have tried lots of different medicines but still suffer with the pain have had injections done in the facet joints also, eased it a little but wore off quickly. good luck hope this info helps a little for you.
