i have been told that i have arthritis of the spine which affects the hip bones going down my legs. when i go to bed, i have to roll over so many times and the pain or soreness wakes me up. i get pain and or soreness on both sides, so what can i rub on it or take for it? it mostly bothers me at nite but sometimes when i walk also.

Its more than likely nerve pain because the sciatic nerve is being squeazed. I have same thing in both legs and both wrists.I take 600 mg of GABAPENTIN 3 or four times a day and it is a huge relief. this is a generic drug and cheap.  for me its free but it depends on your insurance.This is not to be mistaken for medical advice its just a suggestion since you asked. You have nothing to loose by trying it but probably everything to gain Good Luck
