Q: What causes lower thigh pain after THR w/ a 5/8 inch leg length discrepancy?

I had a THR in August.  After complaining that one leg felt longer and caused a significant limp,  I was given a referral to my physical therapist to measure for LLD and heal lifts.  After being measured I was told that I had a structural LLD of 5/8 inch.  I am experiencing a lot of pain in my thigh and around the top of my knee and it seems to be getting worse.  When I walk the affected leg sometimes buckles. I have told this to my orthopedist but he doesn't address it.  I am very concerned.  What could this be and what should I do?
