Hi, I'm 32 and have OA in both hip joints, mainly the left and had steroid injections in both hips 5 days ago now.   Currently I have only noticed a minimal improvement (if any) in my left hip, although I think my expectations were too great due to the doctor saying i would be back playing football within a few days.   I'm not sure if its to early to tell if the steroid injections have fully worked, fingers crossed things improve some more over the next few days.   Although I think I have now come to realise that I will never play football again and I just have to do what is best to reduce the pain and am also interested in cartilage regeneration.
