Q: is it possible to have osteoarthritis from a very young age?

How young is young?? Well, a thirty year old is pretty young and could have the beginings of osteoarthrtis. Osteoarthritis is really just the joint deterioration that occurs with age and depends on activity levels, health, and joint injuries. If the individual is less than 20 I would be concerned about JRA (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis). Best to see a rheumotologist sooner rather than later to see if anything can be done now.
