Q: My sleep is disrupted by pain from parts of my body I'm lying on. Pain ... not numbness. Any ideas please?

This pain feels like i have a problem with circulation to such area. I thought it had to do with the surface I'm lying on, but I've tried all beds in my home without relief. When I wake up and off the bed, after a while, I no longer feel the pains.

Blood pressure is lower when we sleep making areas that are being layed on prone to pain, numbness and tingling. I am wondering if any of the beds you tried a specifically designed to relieve pressure. In the hospital, we use highly specialized air beds for people who have pressure wounds. In the home, people also use air beds (Select Comfort) or foam beds (Tempur-Pedic) to relieve pressure points. Hope this gets you pointed in a more comfortable direction.
