I have Osteoarthritis in my left shoulder and also in my right shoulder in the ACL. The right dosen't cause me much discomfort however the left gives me severe pain. My orthapedist reccomends shoulder replacement. I would rather not do that (I'm only 49) and in good health otherwise. I've seen promosing research with stem cells and joint cartlidge regrowth. Does anyone have any info on this? Clinicl trials? Also, this website http://www.arthritisusa.net/default.asp claims to help many who otherwise needed hip, shoulder or knee replacement. Does anyone have any knowledge of this Doctor and if the procedure works? I appreciate any help in this area.
