Q: My knees are shot (knee replacement is scheduled) but back/hip/leg pain prevails...s

I have been told that once I have my knee replacements it should help stabilize my spine.  I am in pain (sometimes considerable)  from spinal stenosis, sciatica, severly reduced L3 disk.  I am concerned that after the knee replacements I will still need spinal surgery.  How realistic is this concern?
