Head pain from pituitary sugery

Topics:Living With Chronic Pain

4 years ago I had a pituitary tumor removed (transsphenoidal resection of macroadenoma for acromegaly).  Ever since then I have had and complained about head pain and pressure like feeling in my head. Often it is very distracting as it is a sharp pain that normally is on the left/top side of my head but can also have other patterns on pain in my head.  I  have expierenced some faint feelings (never have fainted but feel like I am going to for only seconds)  Also have extreme fatique along with this, some visual disturbances and migraines.  Never had any of these issues until I had this disease and since I have had more issues than I care to think about.  I am being treated monthly injections of Sandostatin LAR 20mg but I can actually say that I have never felt the same since my surgery.  Can this type of surgery cause me to have head pain as when the weather is going to be stormy I always seem to feel much worse.  I take Tylenol for this pain but does not seem to make me feel better.  I have been to two different Neurology Doctors and also see a Endocrin for treatment but nothing has changed for the head pain, faint feelings and fatique.  Any ideas?
