Q: does your hip go out of socket when you have osteoarthritis?

One or the other of my hips constantly go out of "socket" when I am walking.  This usually happens when the weather is bad or I am on my feet constantly.  There is sharp pain associated with this and I have always thought this is osteoarthritis?  I also have deep joint aches that can keep me up at night.
