Hi Gary, Thank you for your question. I found some information indicating that several manufacturers have stopped making Meclomen, but there are still a few that are producing it. You may have been told that it was no longer available because the particular pharmacy that you are using is unable to get the medication, but I would recommend trying other pharmacies in the area to see if they are able to order it for you. According to this website, as of April 2007, there are three companies manufacturing the generic form of Meclomen (Watson, Sandoz, and Mylan). You should be aware, however, that there are many, many precautions and warnings associated with this medication, so be sure to discuss the risks and benefits of using this with your doctor.
