Q: how much tylenol should i take for osteoarthritis?

Hi Artrina,

Thank you for your question. The recommended dose of Tylenol for the treatment of arthritis is 325-650 mg (1 or 2 tablets) every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. You should never take more than 4000 mg (12 regular tablets) in a 24 hour period, as it could lead to serious liver damage.
