Friday, June 13, 2008 ELAINE asks

Q: I was diagnosed with OA at the age of 34, my doctor of 14 years just recently put me through a

series of Remicade treatments. (about 8 infusions) I have left that doctor within the last 2 months and am now finding out that Remicade has never been FDA approved for the treatment of OA and I should never have been on this. During treatment I was experiencing the shakes, and blurred vision which have still continued, but was told by that doctor that these were not side effects, I have been in contact with the Remicade suppliers and was told that it could effect your central nervous system. How long would something like this last and do you have any information on what I can and should do about this???
