Hi Susan,

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry that you had to experience this. I can't speak for your doctor, but it's important to keep in mind that doctors are people too. Everyone makes mistakes. It's also important to keep in mind that there are thousands of medications on the market today, and each medication can cause a different reaction in each person who takes it. Even though there is published information about a medication stating side effects and drug interactions, it depends on who is taking it what type of side effects will occur. I hope you're feeling better now, and that you got the treatment that you needed!

Best of luck,

Casey

Doctors make mistakes--but I would consider finding another doctor.

They should be reviewing all medications each time they see you and each time something new is prescribed.

I have had more problem with the "side effects" side of things.  I have found that I sometimes have side effects that are at the end of the list (the unusual ones), and the doctors are not always as aware of these.

Hold the line--don't let a doctor get by with being sloppy.  It is, after all, your health and your life!!
