Monday, January 12, 2009 Jerry asks

Q: Is there any alternative to voltaren that won't put me at risk for heart attack or stroke?

I have degenerative scoliosis, degenerative disk disease and osteoarthritis.

I was prescribed Voltaren after one bad back attack, and it is amazing how

well it relieved all my back pain.  I would like to stay on it, but I'm very

concerned about heart attack & stroke risk.  Is there something else

equally - or almost equally effective as Voltaren but without the nasty

side effects?

Many thanks.

Hi,

I have read online that Arthrit-Eze is a good alternative (I was looking for one myself), but I haven't tried it yet.

Good luck!
