Q: AFTER TWO YEARS MY NEW KNEE IS SO STIFF IT WON'T BEND MORE THAN 90 DEGREES. WHY

Sometimes it is a matter of the type of implant you have, only the High Flex knee implants allow for deep knee bends. Sometimes it is a matter of a person not sticking with the range of motion exercises as things heal they tend to tighten.

 

90 degrees is still very functional and it is likely something you'll need to live with now. But I bet life is still better with your new knee.
