After I donated my kidney nine years ago, the doctors at the transplant center told me three things to assure the health of my remaining kidney:
1. Do not get diabetes
2. Do not get hypertension
3. Do not use NSAIDS
I have followed all three recommendations since the surgery but have now been afflicted with Scaphoid Lunate Advanced Collapse that has caused mild to moderate arthritis pain. I am a dentist and the pain is approaching the point where I am considering medication to help me continue with my work. The surgeon says to keep on working till the pain is unbearable, then have a surgery to remove the two carpal bones and fuse the wrist. Is Voltaren an option for me?
