I have a finger on my right hand that locks up during sleeping and is very painful to unlock and straighten. It continues at some degree all day but does seem to become more flexible as the day goes on. I have never injured this finger before. Some times its not limited to just that finger. I have woken up and up to 3 fingers are all locked in a bent manor. Can this be related to some damage due to giving plasma from this arm? I stopped giving plasma from the affected arm due to a painful experience giving plasma, the whole process seemed painful in the effected arm.

Sounds like you have a common condition called Dupytrans Contraction. Sometimes remedied with a steriod injection, sometimes requiring a surgery. See a hand surgeon (a subspecialty of Orthopedic Surgery) and you will find a solution.

To Whom It May Concern:

This could be anything, but if I were you, I'd go see an orthopedist and get x-rayed.

That way the doctor would tell you the diagnosis. I've had a similar experience with both my hands and I was diagnosed with CTS. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome> My hands lock up during sleep and are very painful, so its hard to sleep at night. This doctor was surgery happy. He wanted to do surgery right away. Instead I got a 2nd opinion.  The 2nd doctor said that surgery would make it worse. So I'm stuck with this problem. So I hope for the best for you. Good luck.

Sincerely,

Shawn
