Hepatitis C is related to arthritis but not osteoarthritis which really implies that the joint has worn out with age. Hepatitis C is related to rheumatoid arthritis-like polyarthritis. Now this is not rheumatoid arthritis proper, this condition is "like" rheumatoid arthritis". I know this sounds confusing, but in reality the study of arthritis has a lot of gray areas that are clear as mud.

Your best bet is to see a good rheumatologist who will know your best treatment options.
