Q: I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Do you have advise for fingers that hurt often?

I have had surgery on both index fingers.   They were catching and locking and very painful to use.   However, I still have the same symptoms in right index finger.   So, the dr. is suggesting another surgery to relieve the locking...is that a good idea?

My middle finger is now locking and catching and very painful.    Actually all my fingers seem to hurt often.   My fingers on my right hand gets very cold at night...so I wear gloves on both hands.   They still are cold...but it helps.

Do you have any recommendations for me?    Thanks!
