If you're hurting, you should talk to you doctor so you can both figure out what the trouble may be and how you can find relief.

Morning stiffness is common in rheumatoid arthritis. It's different from osteoarthritis in that it's the immune system that attacks the joints and causes swelling, puffiness, pain and stiffness. Rheumatoid arthritis may also make people feel like they have the flu -- they feel tired, achy, feverish and they may have unexplained weight loss.

If they sounds like you, you might want to look at the Rheumatoid Arthritis web site in this network and read about the symptoms, risk factors and tests for the disease.

Either way, talk to your doctor about your concerns.

I have the same problem and I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.(I am a 36 yr old mom of 3)  I take medication that helps with all my aches and pains now and I am so much happier.  Talk to your doctor and have some tests and xrays done to check for arthritis, and have them check for the tender points of fibromyalgia.  I hope you feel better.
