07/16/08

I now have the same pain in my knee joints. Also the cartledge in my inner thieghs have hardened and are quite painful. I use a cane and find most exercise impossible and painful. I take aleve and sometimes ibuphrofen, use ice packs and heat pads. My doctor says it will just get worse and surgery is in the future. I am 58 and have had this since 45. None of my friends have arthritis like mine, theirs is confined to just their hands. My husband just wishes it would go a way...so do I but I need to face the fact it will not and would like to find a support group that I can attend to meet people that have the same problems. I don't want to just sit and complain but meeting people who have experienced what i am going through would be a God send. If anyone has any info on support groups please let me know. Thank you,
