Saturday, June 09, 2012 Ginger asks

Q: My Mother, who is 88 years old, has knee replacement surgery 3 years, ago. Ever since then

she has has hot flashes, daily, which are making her life miserable. Her Dr. is not paying her any attention about them, is this normal, if so, what can she do about it

When a doctor is not paying attention to your concerns, then it is time to get another opinion from a different doctor. It is really hard to say what the "hot flashes" are all about, but I think your concerns are warranted.
