Thank you for your question. If someone is involved in a clinical trial, it's very important not to change any of his or her medications without first consulting whoever is conducting the trial. Any medications changes that are made could potentially effect whatever is being studied, so the changes should be made by the researcher. Otherwise, the person in the trial might no longer be allowed to participate in the study. I hope this helps!
