Q: recently diagnosed with degenerative cartilage of the knee

diagnosed with degenerative cartilage of the knee and also a fractured knee cap -- my doctor has told me I would be looking at a knee replacement in the next 2 years -- I am only 52 and have never had problems until last year -- to date, I have received 3 cortisone injections since January 2009 along with arthroscopic surgery -- is there anything I can do to strenghten the knee as I am still experiencing pain when walking and have read that the cortisone shots could be breaking down the  cartilage even more

Before anyone has a total knee they need to try this product. It has a lot of research out of John Hopkins. It is called "Bionicare" . It is a non-invasive treatment for Osteoarthritis of the knee. It is FDA approved and paid for by Medicare in most regions of the U.S.. There is nothing like it on the market, one of a kind treatment. The success stories are amazing and in most cases it has given people back their lives. It reduces pain and restores function that has been lost due to years of osteoarthritis. My recommendation is that if you are looking for answers besides a total knee replacement and have tried medication, rehab, injections, etc, I suggest you look into this as another alternative. I have a friend that has distributed this product for a few years and his patients have a 80% success rate. You can also read about the product at Vqorthocare.com click on Products click on OActive/Bionicare click on to learn more Please email me at lynnb@vqorthocare.com or call me at 714-313-9999 I would love to help you. The degenerated cartilage can be reversed and regrown using a new technology known as QMR TherapyTM.

Quantum Magnetic Resonance (QMR) TherapyTM is a non-surgical treatment that helps regenerate cartilage and restores mobility of arthritic knee joints. It is a painless and safe treatment. It has also proved to be extremely effective in the treatment of certain types of cancer.

  • It is a pioneering, unique, effective and non-invasive procedure for treatment of Osteoarthritis.
  • QMR TherapyTM for osteoarthritis significantly decreases pain.
  • It has no side effects.
  • It enables natural growth of cartilage and increases its thickness as against placement of foreign substance.
  • It is a cheaper alternative to knee replacement.
  • Both knees can be treated simultaneously in QMR TherapyTM.
  • It increases mobility in patients.
  • It improves stability and power of the knee joint.
  • It is an outpatient treatment.
  • Progress of the disease is halted.
  • Patients can carry on their normal activity during the treatment.
  • Does not have an effect on co-morbidities (associated medical problems).
  • Patients can get rid of knee joint pain killer drugs.
