leg resting on leg gives me aches in bottom leg

When I remove the top leg the ache disappears. I thought it might just be the pressure that the top leg puts on the bottom leg. I feel a little discomfort in right leg when I sit altho the ache in the evening is in either leg depending on which leg is on the bottom.
