Arthritis drugs have the same pros and cons--with one exception

A new study has found that the two main types of drugs used to treat osteoarthritis relieve pain equally and carry almost the same heart risks--with one exception. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen and newer NSAIDs like the COX-2 inhibitor Celebrex work equally to relieve arthritis pain.
