Group seeks revisions to OA painkiller guidelines

A review published in the journal Arthritis Research & Therapy has found discrepancies and a lack of information in guidelines for the use of some painkillers by patients with osteoarthritis (OA). The six sets of guidelines--which address the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory meds--were meant to address concerns over the cardiovascular risks associated with the meds. Read more »
